Thoughts? Predictions?

I going with X in a close game. Male has a nice win over Central, but the 1 point OT win over Western makes me think X is at least 2 or 3 points better.

I think X will win, but I would like coach Wolfe and Male to get the victory .

I think this will be a real true test for each (no duh). :confused: In view of the Ballard & Cincy X games - just how good (or down this year) are the Tigers ? :confused:

Thats allright Jim, haven't seen the Tigers yet, but this should be a very good game. Male cannot turn it over and put pressure on the Tiger QB...Might go see JV game at X.

If you catch the JV edition - let us know what you think. Saw the Baby Bulldogs last week vs. Central - and with all due repsect - they did not look nor do well. they went down 6-0, if I recall.

 

AS you always "root for our opponent' - I hope you pull the upset Friday night.

Jim, I was at the freshman game verses Central too. We gave up the opening drive where I thought the central QB made some nice plays, after that drive nothing. The Male defense stepped up...but the offense has a way to go. They have to help the defense.

 

I wanted to see the field goal kicker for Male, and we didn't score. Male has a good size squad both in numbers and physical size. Over 70 kids.

 

JV losing to X 14-12 yesterday, and thats a good sign, the last few years it hasn't been close. Maybe we need a field goal kicker and I happen to know of one...

 

I might try and go thursday, but if the "O" doesn't do something won't be close for Male.

This has the potential to be a very interesting game. Has Male hit its stride with its trouncing of Central? Is X really down, or is it just going to take some time for them to get healthy and jell? My uneducated guess is that X will summon up their pride and win by 10-14 points.

That JV score is a good sign indeed. I suggest going and getting that kicker - can always use a good one.

Put me in the same catagory, Tony. The Tiger offense seems to have fallen into a deep coma. Some major development needs to occur on both the offensive line and at QB before there is any chance that this hideous fog will lift. It's really sad when you have to depend on the defense and special teams to provide the points needed to achieve victory.
