September 7, 201016 yr I didn't see this link but I have seen a video of this fight. In the video I saw the woman hit the young guy also. Is there video showing who started what and when it was started? Seemed to be a fight over seating maybe? I am not sure just speculating. I just hate to think that older people get a pass for their behavior because they are older. I thought all 3 should have been thrown out. No arrests. If the kid was that bad the older folks should have left and gotten security. If the young guy was verbally abusing the woman then the older man waited way too long to react. They should have gotten security. During my oldest son's middle school basketball game about 4-5 years ago a man made disrespectful comments to my wife. Me and the fellow exchanged words and I was on my way down the bleachers when another parent stopped me and cooler heads prevailed. My son was telling me after the game that the whole team was telling him about how his dad was going to whip somebody in the stands during the game. I explained to him what happened and what the guy said but he was happy I didn't fight him because he would have been embarassed watching his dad get kicked out of the gym or arrested for defending his mom's honor. I understand what it means to defend a woman's honor but there are right ways to do it and wrong ways to do. It took my 11 year old son to convince me that maybe violence isn't the correct way to defend a woman's honor. There are smarter ways to defend her honor.

My interpretation is they were upset with his language and decided to argue with him instead of getting security. Young guy uses profanity, she slaps him, he takes it and moves on. She's not happy because she didn't get the reaction she wanted and continues to give him a hard time. The older man switches positions with the female and ASSAULTS the younger guy. September 7, 201016 yr I agree that the couple was wrong. I think the younger "punk" showed a lot of restraint. I agree that age doesn't make attacking someone the right thing to do. In a public setting like that you leave and let security handle the situation.
