September 1, 201016 yr I'm just going strictly off what I see and not really off stats. And I do know what I'm talking about and Valaika is a big upgrade offensively right now and that has been my only statement. I'm not even saying that he should be playing everyday' date=' just wondering if there are ways to keep him in there why he is hot. I don't care if Janish started off 25/25 because that isn't what I'm looking at.[/quote'] I would call 4 K's in a game pretty much the exact opposite of hot...:idunno:
September 1, 201016 yr I would love to see Chapman send a 105 MPH fastball in between #2 & #9. 29? Carpenter?
September 1, 201016 yr You betcha. But if Red Schoendienst (No. 2) and Country Slaughter (No. 9) want to step in for a few swings against Chapman that'd be OK with me too.

He had a hit and scored. So even though he had a rough game, he still contributed and helped the team offensively. I feel he is a good replacement that should be playing while people are hurt right now. Can you not understand that's all I'm saying?

September 1, 201016 yr Stubbs 8 Heisey 9 Votto 3 Rolen 5 Gomes 7 Hernandez 2 Cairo 4 Janish 6 Cueto 1 So much for giving Rolen an extra day off...:idunno:

September 1, 201016 yr Maybe Dusty saw the Cards are about to lose and figured a win today is just as good as tomorrow. If he's playing him, I'd think he'd play Bruce unless it's more serious than precautionary, which I'm starting to think it is.
