Should be 4 IMO....Rolen, Phillips, Votto, and Bruce are all deserving...

It's really amazing how far Votto has come along at 1B.

Is there any way Votto doesn't win MVP should the Reds hold on to first place?

Pujols wins Triple Crown is about the only way I can think of...

There shouldn't be but there are plenty of man crushes on Sir Albert. I heard some analyst on ESPN say he would vote for AP because the line up around him wasn't as strong.

I don't think so he would have to go really really cold.

They both just said the Reds have something special there in Chapman, but it is unfortunate to see the small crowd. They just compared the Reds to both the big red machine, and also the Cards from last August.

There will NEVER, and I mean NEVER be another Big Red Machine. Ridiculous statement.

What do the Reds do with Valaika? It is great that we can let Phillips get 100% healthy, but he will be back soon and I don't see any way he can come out of the line up right now. Obviously Phillips is going to be playing whenever possible, so can Valaiaka play SS everyday? You have to ride someone while they are hot and I really like him hitting second right now.

So he quit showing up at the ballpark because he lost his job?

Oops. Thought I read "in the game" as opposed to "at the game."

By far the best thing I have ever witnessed in person at GABP.

I wasn't there last night, so I can't fully comment. But was there more excitement and buzz than when Griffey was going for 500 and the whole place was sold out? Granted, they weren't leading the division by 7 games then. But I went to two games of that weekend series and it was awesome!

He had 4 k's last night....

Anyone else going to the game tomorrow night?

I'll be there. Not sure where my seats are at this time though.

You play Brandon Phillips and Paul Janish, period. Valaika is going to be a big asset for the organization but you dance with the girl that brought you. With that said if OCab gets healthy he is your shortstop.
