LRCW
The Reds rebound nicely after a disastrous start to the week caused by UKMF starting last week's 1st thread. The Reds now have a 5 game lead with only 32 games remaining. The Reds start out the week with 3 at home against Milwaukee before heading to St. Louis for a big 3 game series. The Reds will once again face the BIG 3 from the Cardinals. Huge, huge week.
dmderringer10
I'll take a 3-3 week. (as long as one of the wins comes against St. Louis.)
malachicrunch
I'll take a 3-3 week. Yep. Really at this point .500 for the last 32 may be good enough.

HammerTime
^ It's getting old, it was kinda of funny and interesting to argue with you at first but you just do it for the sake of doing it now.

HammerTime
So according to Patrick the Reds lead would be gone by Friday not only do they still have the lead it is now larger than he ever has been.
RondoRules
Any combination of 29 Reds wins or Cardinals losses will put the Reds in the playoffs. That does not seem like very many!
EZ Living
The Brew Crew comes to town winners of 2 of 3 from Pittsburgh but only 2 for their last 6 games. The pitching matchups look like this and it looks like the Reds will see 2 lefties. Let's hope Bruce stays hot this week. Monday Wolf vs Bailey Wolf is 3-1 and 3.23 era in his last 6 starts Tuesday Gallardo vs Harang Gallardo is 2-2 and 7.47 era in his last 6 starts Wednesday Narveson vs Cueto Narveson is 2-1 and 4.26 era in his last 6 starts Brewers bats for their last 7 games. Look for Dickerson to play a lot versus all righties. Braun 11-27 .407 (heating up lately) Fielder 8-28 .285 Weeks 7-29 .241 McGehee 5-27 .185 Escobar 6-25 .240 Lucroy 8-23 .348 Cain 4-23 .174 Hart 6-21 .286 Kottaras 6-21 .286 Dickerson 7-16 .
sweet16
Yep. Really at this point .500 for the last 32 may be good enough. More than enough the way the Cards have been playing.
EZ Living
Yep. Really at this point .500 for the last 32 may be good enough. If they go 16-16 the Cards would have to go 22-12 to tie and that's a .611 %. Only 2 teams in baseball are above that %, the Yankess and Rays. Michael Corleone
The bottom line is that the Reds are tied with Atlanta for the 4th best record in all of baseball. Its not a fluke they are a good ball club. They need to focus and get home field throughout the playoffs. With their schedule compared to the Padre's it is very possible. 20 and 12 should do it.
