I finally got a "St. X. Spin" on the game when I found the following on saintx.com:

 

"The Baby Bengals lost a hard fought battle Saturday evening at Fort Thomas Highlands. Three lead changes left them behind 24-19 and that's where the score remained when the horn sounded. Great running by Charles Walker, Cedric Miller, and Luke Hayden was accompanied with great catches by Gus Filiatreau and Will Roshkowski. Defensively, Evan Caffee, Joe Hettel, and Clay Schaefer kept a hard running Bluebird team at bay. The Tigers will have their home opener Thursday at 5:30 PM against Lexington Catholic."

Congrats to the Baby Bengals on a hard fought game. Many more days with a "W" are in their future!

I know, in your case, there are a lot of "Tigercat Juniors" who can take up the gauntlet for the aging maestro and support St. X. on BGP. :lol: :lol:

I can hear John Spears with the radio call in a couple years..."and that was Luke Hayden on the carry...out of...St. Stephen Martyr...Joey Hettel with the stop...out of.... St. Stephen Martyr"... Good to see some backyard kids getting some PT for the Baby Bengals.

I will try to post more but I have a lot more sites to monitor now. Going to South Bend to see the Irish on Saturday. Austin Collinsworth has been impressive. Congrats to the Baby Birds wherever they played in grade school. Remember with Highlands 19th win last year, some other teams motto became "Tradition Equaled".

Again thanks to Highlands last year for keeping KY football at a high level. T and X couldn't get it done against Cincy St X and Elder but the 'Birds got it done.
