I think he'll stay with Biden....At this rate, I don't think it'll matter though, because if the economy doesn't turn around, he isn't getting re-elected regardless IMO.

I am curious to know what role Biden is taking with this administration. Although much is speculation, Cheney was a big presence in the last administration. I am not getting the same vibe this go around.

I don't think he stays with Biden and as things stand today he will not get re-elected. That is unless the Rep nominate another lame duck like McCain.

Other than Andrew Jackson, the only other one I could find was FDR. During his first and second terms, his vice president was John Nance Gardner of Texas. For his third term, in the election of 1940, Roosevelt's vice president was Henry A. Wallace of Iowa. In the election of 1944, the Democrats picked Harry S. Truman.

Most recently I believe he was "put in charge" of overseeing the stimulus "give away", and vowed to makes sure he "accounted for every penny of the taxpayer's money". Doing a great job!!

 

I see no way he will stick with Biden, don't think he is bringing much to the table, except a "Quayle-like" presence (Can you imagine if the media would attack him and his blunders with the vigor they did poor old Dan)??

 

Maybe he'll reach out to Queen Nancy or King Harry (he may need a job), or he could bring the real VP (or is it Pres) out of hiding--Rahm Emanual?? Can't imagine Hilary's ego allowing, but maybe Bill would consider a pay-cut to try and set up his girl for 2016??

If Ted Kennedy could not defeat Jimmy Carter in '80, I do not see Obama losing his nomination. Though this is probably the best chance since that time.
