Russell does expect to win this game and they want it just as bad, if not worse than Mercer. The game will be decided by the talent on the field. And in all honesty, IMO Russell has more talent. We will just have to wait and see who gets the congratulations and the well wishes in next weeks regional championship game.

There line couldn't be much bigger than Henry County who averaged 280 on the line.

Russell does expect to win this game and they want it just as bad, if not worse than Mercer. The game will be decided by the talent on the field. And in all honesty, IMO Russell has more talent. Have you seen Mercer play? If not don't say Russell has more talent. We want you to keep thinking that so we can come to your place and show you what can of talent Mercer has. This team not only has talent they have heart and perseverance and we all know where that can take you. Then you add good coaching and you will see where all this will take this Mercer team.

3 starters well over 300 lbs, 1 around 6'9", plus some 300+ lb reserves. They aren't a fast line, but they wear you down throughout the course of a game. I have heard that Henry County's line is also very large.

Everything you said in that paragraph could just as well have been said about Russell. Good coaching, heart, etc... No I have not seen Mercer play. I guess that one of these teams will just have to prove it on the field friday night. I feel confident in saying that that team will be Russell.

From tackle to tackle. The one we call tiny is 5' 10" 300lbs. The rest are bigger. The tight ends are 6' 3" 215lbs and 6'1" 205lbs. Henry county is just big boned compared to Mercer.

Russell's line is not that big but they are strong and quick. This very well could neutralize the size advantage that Mercer County has.
