Not to be negative nelly here, but what has Bruce done to show improvement? I think he and Stubbs will get better, but I'm not sure how much. I'll be shocked if Rolen is as productive next year as he is this year. Just replacing Rhodes isn't as easy as it seems. I totally agree that their rotation should keep them in the next 4 playoff races though. Also, the division may not be this winnable next year.

 

You guys seem to forget that Jay Bruce is all of 23 years old. Dusty Baker needs to be the one that makes the important decisions when it comes to replacing him in certain spots. As for Rhodes what is another year if he keeps himself in good shape. Has he said anything about retiring?

Nice comeback win by the Reds today and an excellent job by Bronson of settling into his role of keeping the game close. Good bullpen job even with CoCo making it interesting AGAIN. We need to win tomorrow but who knows which Edinson will show up?
