If you like this conspiracy theory stuff, and more particulary the debate about the government keeping secrets and starting hoaxes, I would strongly suggest the book, Deception Point by Dan Brown.

Just a quick observation. With all the technology we have, why hasn't some someone done an article with great pictures taken by one the our giant telescopes here on earth showing the flag, lunar rover etc... I think it would be interesting to see the condition of these historical artifacts some 40+ years later.

None of the telescopes on Earth have that resolution capability. However, moon orbiting satellites have taken photographs. Just last summer, the LRO did this. Clicking this link includes an article and many of the photos. http://www.nasa.gov/mission_pages/LRO/multimedia/lroimages/apollosites.html

MJ, is this the author that firmly believes there is a cure for cancer but the government its keeping it from us for economical and job loss purposes?

I read this a few years ago. Good book, but fiction, just like Dan Brown's other books. He has a knack of making conspiracy theories seem true which sells books....and movies.

Does anybody think the goverment caught Aliens?

On the Mythbusters episode they shot a giant laser at the moon at a large prism that was left there. It reflected back to them, proving there is man-made material on the moon.

What happened to TBW? He started this thread and made great promises about proving it a hoax and now can't be found. :D

Those are some really cool pictures. I especially like the one that shows the astronaut footpath.

They can't catch them crossing the border from Mexico how could they catch one from outerspace? :D
And I think that the Eagles produced some pretty good music, but Jim Schue will disagree. :D

Taste in music is about opinions. Whether or not something happened is about fact.

Kinda how I view aliens...I don't care how big space is. Where's are the facts?

I've never spent any time thinking about the moon landing. I've read nothing to make me believe it was a hoax.

Of course, when it comes to conspiracy theories, I'd be hard to sway. Right off the bat, if the conspiracy requires a huge number of people, as this one would, I'm out. That's not happening.

Very true. There is no proof of alien existence.

There are many "moon hoax" believers and I have spent a great deal of time over the years reading their thoughts and those of the debunkers. I'm a member of another forum that spends thread after thread after thread dedicated to the topic. I've yet to see one bit of "evidence" that the landing was a hoax that hasn't been debunked thoroughly.

I really don't know what his views are on that.
