NCC should have a solid core back with Geisler 6'7 and Hightchew at guard but they will have several inexperienced varsity players. Up and coming sophomore Michael Beuter should crack the starting lineup IMO, the kid can shoot the rock and is one of the smartest players I have watched over the past several years. Morse is a big kid who can help down low but Im not familiar with others, maybe some of the Bred faithfull have some insight.

The key to the Breds season might lie with how well Brian Doyle and Zach Ryan play. Both are very long and athletic and at times good outside shooters. Andy Miller also could be a surprise if he continues to improve.

The Breds will do what they always do. Startoff slowly as they go deep into the football season. Than they will get their footbal players into basketball shape and this year should make a nice run into the post season. They have a nice mix of some bigs and some super quick guards along with some shooters.

Seems like Michael Beuter and Dylan Harris (?) may have a positive impact on the program this fall.

Throw it into Giesler every trip down the floor and let the big dog eat!

When you have a POY candidate you get it to him as much as possible. He is a good passer from the post so he will create a lot of open looks for the shooters from the wing.

The Beuter kid will be big for the Breds this year this kid can flat out shoot the basketball, losing G Pangallo would hurt any team but this kid should see a lot of minutes and take some of Grants scoring on.

It's gotta be Geisler, Geisler, Geisler all the way. If they can't/don't get the ball in to him, they struggle to win.

This team will go as far as Geisler carries them.

Newcath had a very underrated JV squad last season though, so don't be surprised if the Breds are better than expected this coming season.

How does the future look for the Breds? They have any talent in the grade school system?

I know there is an 8th grader at St. Joe's Drew McDonald and a couple Anderson Twins at St. Thomas who should be nice players.

The two Neff boys Logan and Austin..

I think there is a Pangallo in the 8th that is a nice player. St. Therese?

Talk about this school when the ALL A comes around then forget them .............. Most of the schools in NKY is lucky that there is this thing called the ALL A ......... Just not that good in NKY in round ball ........... Covington is in its own world ...........
