July 10, 201016 yr Don't know if he would interested in going across country but ESPN is reporting that the Heat are in discussion with Derek Fisher. Word is that he wants around $5m and the Lakers are offering only around $2.5m.

July 10, 201016 yr I probably wouldn't post this on any other message board, but since this is a Kentucky site I will... I think they should call Chris Lofton's agent and give the kid a shot. Lofton's agent should be all over this situation (if he wants to come home, and play with the best). Could maybe get him for relatively cheaper than most current NBA players, and all you need him to do is shoot. You heard it here first. You are totally right. With the big three, Chris would be open all day long. I just was on vacation with his parents and we talked about this.
July 10, 201016 yr Would love to see D Fish come and beat LA this season in the Finals, would be classic. On the flipside, I'm not so sure he could do that, he has won 5 rings with them. They did sign Steve Blake though, and you would think it would be to back up Farmar, who knows. They are lowballing Fisher, I hope it comes back to bite them.

July 11, 201016 yr Author Listen guys I know some of you all like certain players and want to see them stay with a certain team or whatever, but saying there is absolutely no chance is kind of ridiculous. We seen how this played out with Lebron James didn't we? Some people said there was "no chance" he would go to the Heat but guess what... He may very well stay with the Lakers but he did meet with the Heat and apparently is at least willing to listen to what they have to say. Did he meet with the Clippers, Nets, and Warriors as well? I don't think so, so meeting with the Heat is showing that he has some interest.

July 12, 201016 yr The Heat should grab Shawn Kemp. Didn't he want to come out of retirement? They could put Glove at the point, Kemp at the 4, and Bosh at the 5 and still win a lot of games. (Bosh doesn't want to play the 5 though).
