July 9, 201016 yr I probably wouldn't post this on any other message board, but since this is a Kentucky site I will... I think they should call Chris Lofton's agent and give the kid a shot. Lofton's agent should be all over this situation (if he wants to come home, and play with the best). Could maybe get him for relatively cheaper than most current NBA players, and all you need him to do is shoot. You heard it here first.

July 9, 201016 yr Spot up shooters, athletic defenders, and big bodies who can bang and take up space in the paint. That's all they need. They don't need another PG. Chalmers is decent enough and Wade and Lebron can handle the ball when necessary.
July 9, 201016 yr Anyone see LeBron running the point on this team? I've thought about this a lot, and I think you will see him bringing the ball up and running the offense quite a bit. He is already one of the best passers in the league, and with the ball already in his hands it creates opportunities for Wade and Bosh off the ball. Then when Chalmers or whoever else is running point, then you have three dangerous guys playing off the ball and coming off screens, pick and rolls. Mike Miller would be a great addition. He is their main target I am hearing, and is very interested in joining. He is a Florida guy and all. I think Miller would be a perfect fit for that team and coming off the bench, and I could see when Millers in the game a lineup that looks like this, LBJ (PG) D Wade (SG) Miller (SF) Bosh (PF) then whoever else at center. That is a very offensively charged lineup, without even considering who's playing the five.

I would love to see J Will freakin people and throwing flashy passes to these guys.

July 9, 201016 yr Yes. To me he has always been a PG. Point Forward. Basically, that is what Pippen ran for the Bulls. They never truly had a point guard but had Pippen running the offense.

If Pat Riley passes on Chris Lofton does he become as stupid of a coach as Tubby was when he passed on Lofton? Chris Lofton?
July 9, 201016 yr I don't think Lofton or Scheyer are great options as I don't think either can guard anyone in the league. Now, they could get open looks with all those stars though.
July 9, 201016 yr Joe Crawford? Seems to be doing well for Orlando in summer ball. Would come cheap, I assume. Joe became a pretty solid defender at UK.
