Penny candy DQ ice cream that used to taste really creamy, not like it is now Playing in the snow for hours and never feeling the cold.
November 12, 201213 yr Watching Twilight Zone and Bay City Bombers on Friday night after football games. Spending entire days IN the river. From sun up til sun down. The big summer vacation of taking the boat to Coney Island for a day and having a picnic at the dam. Hanging in the hood climbing trees and exploring the woods. Mini bikes, Jeeps and parties my partents didn't know about.

November 13, 201213 yr There was a baseball card game a couple of friends & I used to play ALL THE TIME when we were kids. You basically would divide the cards up into their respective teams, create your own lineups & then play games. You would take a card and then roll a pair of dice. The number combination determined what the player did. Like a 1 & 1 was a home run. 2 & 2 was a double. 1 & 5 was a walk. 6 & 3 was a double play (if there was a runner on). May sound like the most boring game in the world, but to a couple of sports nerd kids, we had a blast with it. I'm pretty sure at my Mom & Dad's house, I still have the complete set of Fleer baseball cards from Ken Griffey Jr.'s rookie year. APBA, made a game like that we used to play. Had a card for every player in the league, And based on their stats, their numbers were better. Basically they had more good roles.

November 13, 201213 yr I miss a lot of the same things that have already been mentioned. But something that hasn't...and this is going to come out of left field, considering some of the other things that have been...are the seams in the interstate pavement. That soft, little "fwump-fwump...fwump-fwump...fwump-fwump" going down the interstate was almost hypnotic.
