5-Hour Energy shots What a joke

Featured Replies

My brother got a large sack of these free from one of their reps not to long ago and I thought why not give them a shot. My god they did nothing for me or anyone here.

I can not believe people wasted their money on this product.

Do you drink alot of cafeine products or sports drinks?

No other sports drinks and I have maybe three cups of hot tea a day or coffee.
Everyone that I have talked to said they work great.

They don't work for me. No2 shots work the best for me. I haven't tried the Red Bull shots but I like the effect that Red Bull drink has.

I don't ever drink energy drink, coffee, and soft drinks are rare.

I have only used the 5 hour energy shot twice, both while driving from Memphis to Cincy, after a full work day and they worked great for me both times.

5 hour energy is great! I've never had a cup of coffee, though.

For me, the Red Bull "effect" is a racing heart. Maybe you're in a Red Bull commercial after your heart explodes. After all, Red bull gives you wings.

None of these drinks are good for you.

^ Neither is cheeseburgers, milkshakes and recent reports say football isn't either lol.

Not gonna lie, I can't judge, bc the only caffeine I drink is with alcohol(and I don't do that daily), if I drink even a Moutain Dew it's like I'm on drugs, POWERFUL drugs, I'm up forever and just intensely awake. It's like I have a drug in me, never done the 5 hour energies but I can't imagine what just those would do to me.

And just for our older readers "too much salt is bad for your arteries" :p

I took one back in February the day I flew out to Vegas. I had to wake up around 5:00 to catch our flight. Then the UK/UT game to watch that same night at the casino followed by a Cirque show starting at 10:30 PST. It got me through the marathon day pretty well. As a rule I am not a big fan of taking things like that though.

I always thought Mt Dew was an energy drink.

Their crap and a waste of money. They don't have enough caffine in them to do anything. I have taken them and could have fallen alseep an hour later.

I've got a buddy at work that we all give a hard time because he can't stay awake. Someone brought him a five hour energy drink one day, he never made it out of the chair he drank it from. He fell asleep less than an hour after drinking it:lol:
