They need a kick start. This is a .500 team right now, they rode a 2 week hot stretch to the division lead. The division is the weakest in baseball so they've held that lead but at 14-15 in their last 29 games they need a spark.

I agree with that. Only thing saving them is the cubs have stunk and cards are 18 and 22 for last 40.

I give GT one job to do while I'm away, and he fails miserably. A 2-5 record while I'm gone. :ohbrother:

LeCure can't catch a matchup break. He seemingly faces a stud pitcher every time out.

Even I had a better week than that ... :D

He just needs to get his pitch count up high enough to be a starter but other than that he is ready. I wonder what kind of pitch count he is going to be on. Everyone says his stuff looks just as good as ever but if he is on an 80-90 pitch count he isn't going to get deep into many games and going to tax our bullpen even more. Dusty says he will be back July 7th. He topped out at 97 his last start, 5 scoreless inning

Stay the hell away the beach from now on. If the Reds miss the playoffs by a game, you get the nickname "beach boy."

Burton and Bray with scoreless outings again for Louisville tonight.

Orlanod Cabrera 6

vs. RHP Felix Hernandez (4-5, 3.61)

Pretty impressive stats by Ichiro. 1493 career games and he has over 200 more hits than Rose had after 1493 games.

Sigh, 5-1 bad guys after 6...

Will the Reds see first place again this year?

Cue up Tom Petty... The Reds appear ready for a freefall. This is a .500 club at best right now.
