June 20, 201016 yr Pretty impressive stats by Ichiro. 1493 career games and he has over 200 more hits than Rose had after 1493 games. Would have been great to see him start his career in the MLB at the age of 20, who knows, he could have been a serious threat to 3500 and who knows after that.

Based on his stats alone, it's safe to say he could have had a legit shot at the Hit King's record. He should have a good shot at 3,000 at this point since he rarely misses a game. One more 200 hit season and he ties Pete for the most in a career with 10.

June 20, 201016 yr I vote GT doesn't start another track the Reds thread. Kiss of death... Reds were teetering even in my last couple of weeks starting these threads, they were due for a really bad week. Let's hope they can right the ship quickly because the schedule doesn't get any easier.
