Aric Russell is new Campbell County Coach

Featured Replies

Code is gone. Like it or not, time to move on. The move didn't set well with many people, that's apparent. Most of whom don't seem to be from the Campbell County High School family. What good can come from continuing to :deadhorse: :deadhorse: :deadhorse: :deadhorse:

How about getting behind the new coach. Letting the past go and allowing the players to read something positive.

Good luck to Aric Russell and the Camels.

Congrats to the new Coach!!As a parent of a soon to be CAMEL we are very excited about the new coach and the future of the CAMELS. As for Mr. Code, some changes aren't always bad, may we wish him well and stop dwelling on his "winning" record as a coach. He is also mioving on to new great things. So let it go.

It's just at Camel town winning doesn't happen often

Maybe there is more to coaching than wins and losses????????

HOORAY!!! SOMEONE finally recognizes that!!!!

So if you never win but the kids have fun and grow as individuals, then that is acceptable by the community?

Sure for about three games, and then the other group of parents rises up and says we want to win, and there goes another coach. A wise man told me if the parents would stay away from high school sports, the kids would have more fun and learn more too.

This dead horse is going to get beat forever. Why does it have to be the parents or the players. I think some of the parents wish they had the power to get things run the way they want. They don't.

This is suppose to be a thread about Aric Russell being the new head coach at Campbell County. Start a thread about what you don't like about Campbell County if that's what you want.

Wow!! when have we seen excitement from someone saying they are the parent of a soon to be Camel!! Sounds like there is excitement in Camel land. I am sure that Coach Russell would not have taken the job unless he knew he had the support of the machine, whatever that is.

From what I read most of the people mad at your district are people paying to go to another school in the county. If a lot of the camel faithful are unhappy they must be telling the BBHS groupies, because not many are posting about it. I watched Newport play this year, you will see the Camels in a different style.

Should be an exciting couple of years in Camel land. They have a lot of talent coming through the doors to compliment a solid base already there.

I got to see the Russell led Camels tonight in a couple games in the SK team camp. They beat Lloyd and Calvary Christian pretty easily. They were up and down the floor. There were also some "new" faces that did not play last year.

This sounds good for the Camels

Who were these new faces?
