The difference is that those countries are theocracies. We are a country that was founded with a right to the freedom of it's citizens to practice whatever reglion they choose. This comparison is in no way a valid one. You simply cannot think it's a valid comparison.

Christmas break is now referred to as Holiday break, and Easter Break is spring break. In all seriousness, kids can get in trouble at PUBLIC schools if they don't refer to the breaks in the proper way. Happy Holidays! We are a lame nation. Umm, it's called Spring Break because it occurs during the Spring. I've never once had a Spring Break over the Easter holiday, and I've never heard anything referred to as Christmas Break. Even in a Catholic school, it was always referred to as Winter Break. I mean, you're seriously upset because they call the breaks by the seasons they occur in rather than by the closest Christian holiday name? Seriously? :lol:

You shot down nothing at all. I put up a nativity scene every year. Fact. I tell everyone Merry Christmas. Fact. I've never not been allowed to pray in school, even in a public setting. Fact. I've never been admonished for any of these things. Fact. So please tell me exactly what you shot down again?

August 17, 201016 yr I've never once had a Spring Break over the Easter holiday, and I've never heard anything referred to as Christmas Break. I will give ya Easter Break...never heard of that either. But, it was always referred to as Christmas Break until recently.
