May 19, 201016 yr Good point. But does this not reflect on the players? They now have players that are capable of doing such things. I seem to remember a player, that is no longer with the team that went eons without hitting a SAC fly. Said player was also incapable of going from 1st to 3rd on anything less than a HR. He wasn't too polished in the field either. So I attribute such glowing stats to personel moves, more than I give credit to the mgr. This is in response tp post# 196. Interesting that there are 8 spots in the lineup and all the blame is on one of those 8 players.
