What exactly is a foggy memory from an intoxication level for a 21 year old college student? Is that the moment right before you black out? Or is that one of the memories you have after you've blacked out?

Either way she gave two statements. More disturbing to me was her friends saying they tried to get to her but weren't allowed. They complained to the staff and they were told "he wouldn't ruin his rep". They tried again to get to her w/o luck. One friend said she thought it was a setup. Then when the ordeal was over they went to the cops. Yeah those tapes being taped over were a ("wink wink") mistake.

I took what the DA said a lot different. I think he knew a crime was committed and couldn't prove it. Especially when the victim and her family asked not to persue charges.

The family could not control whether or not the DA would pursue a case. He seemed to indicate that he really wanted to find a crime but could not. However, like most on here, he really seemed to believe that Big Ben showed extremely poor judgement and no semblance of morals and he let that be known very clearly. I believe he has put the NFL in a position that they have to do something, and rightfully should. I think Ben will be suspended for a couple of games and I don't think he should appeal it. Hopefully, it will come from Goddell so that the appeal will not have much merit. I think the Steelers want that as well. What he did was wrong IMHO and he gave the Steelers and the NFL a black eye. If he wants to start to rebuild his image, he should not appeal whatever the punishment is, take it like a man and move forward.

The DA didn't have a case if she didn't testify. I'm sure the DA would have persued it if there was enough physical evidence. That's why I think it took longer than 11 days. At the 11 day mark she asked to not persue it b/c of the ordeal. I can't get past the friends being blocked and the DA calling her a "victim" repeatedly.

Not sure what happened in the bathroom, and from the report I'll bet she's not sure either. But he didn't rape her. That's a fact. Not condoning his actions whatsoever, and the longer it goes, my opinion gets even worse, and I have changed my tune about the suspension, I think he'll definitely have to sit out at least 2, possibly more. Who knows what happened, you can discuss the tape issue all you want, unless it was in the restroom it wouldn't have shown anything either.

She even told the hospital I was kind of raped not raped so I agree. I don't think he held her down and brutally raped her at all. I do think she thinks what happened was wrong. He said that night that they didn't even have intercourse. I think that's a lie. Could the tapes have shown her being taken down the hall by a body guard? Could they have shown her friends trying to get to her? Could they have shown their concern asking a worker to let them in that bathroom? I have no idea. Even if they did show all of that it wouldn't be enough for an assault conviction IMO. I just wish the tapes weren't erased. I really hope Ben gets at least 4 games. 1 moth ago I din't know if he deserved 1 quarter.

The lack of DNA makes me wonder how much went on in the bathroom, if there was some kind of intercourse I believe they wouldn't have had trouble finding some DNA.
