Big Ben Details Released

She even told the hospital I was kind of raped not raped so I agree. I don't think he held her down and brutally raped her at all. I do think she thinks what happened was wrong. He said that night that they didn't even have intercourse. I think that's a lie. Could the tapes have shown her being taken down the hall by a body guard? Could they have shown her friends trying to get to her? Could they have shown their concern asking a worker to let them in that bathroom? I have no idea. Even if they did show all of that it wouldn't be enough for an assault conviction IMO. I just wish the tapes weren't erased. I really hope Ben gets at least 4 games. 1 moth ago I din't know if he deserved 1 quarter.

You can be anti Ben and all that, but the simple fact is that the rape kit was negative. I can guarantee you, had they had intercourse, it would have been evident on the rape kit. Plainly and simply you're wrong. Unless they met up after the police report and got busy, you're wrong on that one.:thumb:

Thanks. I honestly didn't know about that. So a rape kit would have said they had sex even if it was consensual? I didn't see a report that said the rape kit didn't say that, but I have looked at so many things I don't remember them all.

"I told him it wasn't OK; no, we don't need to do this, and I proceeded to get up and try to leave," the accuser said in a written statement. "I went to the first door I saw, which happened to be the bathroom, and shut the door behind him. I still said no, this is not OK, and he then had sex with me. He said it was OK. He then left without saying anything."

The Tribune-Review also reports that the officer who wrote that report, Milledgeville police Sgt. Jerry Blash, was under internal investigation for derogatory comments allegedly made about the accuser, and has resigned.

First off, I hate Roethlisberger. He's a punk and a thug. He needs to take a fast drive in traffic on his motorcycle without his helmet.

That being said I have some serious issues with this girl's statement. "I went to the first door I saw, which happened to be the bathroom, and shut the door behind him." Behind him? Why behind him? Wouldn't it have been better to close the door behind herself and exclude him, since that was the point of going through the door in the first place?

"I still said no, this is not OK, and he then had sex with me. He said it was OK. He then left without saying anything." I understand the law says "no" means "no," but I am left wondering where the part is about her screaming, yelling, kicking, scratching, etc.. And I really feel the bolded part has quite a bit to do with the entire situation.

Interesting about the police officer involved in the investigation having to resign. I hadn't heard anything about this.

It's much more of a drunken mistake / regret than rape (or sexual assault), from what I can tell.

I'm not a Big Ben fan, but let's not act like he's the only famous athlete / person who does this type of stuff. Wilt Chamberlain slept with over 100 girls. Magic Johnson, Winston Bennett, Tiger Woods, and a host of other people have similar pasts.

How many of us guys, at one point in your life, have never thought how "nice" (for lack of a better word) it would be to walk into a bar and have multiple girls approach you immediately? It's not that hard to predict how you would react, particularly if you're drunk & in your 20's.

Not too long ago I was out in the Western US with a guy who played briefly in the NBA. At nearly 7 foot tall, he stuck out like a sore thumb & people recognized him. Women came up to him in every bar, tugging at his shirt and flirting with him. He's a married man with children who was with a group of guys, so it didn't go further than that. But it easily could have, had he made the slightest effort. Heck, I could have very easily gotten myself into some trouble as his wingman!

I'm not condoning Big Ben's actions, but it's easy for me to see how stuff like this can happen. I would like to think that my morals would stand strong, but eventually temptation may get the best of me. And I don't think I'm in the minority here.

Yes, had there been intercourse, it would be evident. Consensual or otherwise.

Agree. Either way he'll likely be parked for the first 2 games and I don't think anyone would disagree that it's not a good idea.

And what if Little Ben was so drunk he couldn't finish the act?

And what if Little Ben was so drunk he couldn't finish the act?

I thought I read that Big Ben said she slipped & he realized she was too drunk, so they stopped?

When he stopped because she was too drunk, she realized that she had made a mistake. She gets back to her friends & her friends ask her what happened. She's embarrassed, because she knows that she made a mistake & her friends know what they were doing in the bathroom.

That's a very believable story, IMO.

The bottom line: be careful what, when, and how much you drink.

And what if Little Ben was so drunk he couldn't finish the act?

Maybe that's why the chick was upset? Not sure.

Nearly exactly what I posted in another thread after the DA's presser. I agree totally.

I know this is her side of the story, but if true, he needs help...

If not completely true he needs help, there is some truth to the story or the investigation would have not continued. There wasn't enough to bring him to trial, but it didn't seem like the DA was comfortable w/ that. He needs to get his ego destroyed. That is the only thing that will ever change him. Obviously one civil trial for sexual abuse wasn't enough to let him know that people are either not afraid of you, or out to get you. The only way he will change is when football is taken away from him, and nobody is doting over him anymore.

Sounds like Little Ben doesn't mind an unprotected pocket.

Thanks. Do you have the article or link where it said no intercourse occured? I can't find it. Being in a bad situation is a lot different than alleged assault. I still feel this girl thinks they had sex and she didn't want to. He is an idiot no matter what. He doesn't deserve a huge suspension if they didn't have sex.

What makes it dumber to me is how easy it is for Ben. Heck almost any guy could go to a bar and leave w/ a female. He like your buddy has a lot of options. Why go after 20 year olds in college towns that are hammered? He could have found a 20 year old that night if that's what he likes. If not that night the next night and the next night. Why in a bathroom and not invite them back to his house? That's the disturbing part. If he wanted to just have someone it would have happened. The girl in Vegas consensually or not tells us looks aren't that important to him if he has a mission. I don't get that part of it. He could be w/ tons of girls that 90% of the world wouldn't have a shot w/. Why a hammered 20 year old where their friends were denied a chance to get her if that is indeed the case?

I have been crazy drunk a bunch of times and never walked around with my stuff hanging out of my pants on the way to the John where a girl awaits that someone pulled in there for me. It's much more than just being drunk.
