After browsing the entire list, none to my knowledge walked on but if they did, almost all played at D1 level, Walt Allen is the only player who went below D1 straight out of HS. Speaking of past Mr Basketball winners, does anyone remember when someone was ripping O'Boro's Brandon Davenport (97) on BGP, and he signed up and gave a pretty good fight in a thread?

April 7, 201016 yr I agree, UofL will have 3 Ky boys next year. Knowles, Phares and Justice. I too think Justice made the wise choice for him and his goal of wanting to coach. Going back to the Crum years this is one of the things that got Denny in trouble,IMO. He had to many in state players on his teams. It is less work in recruiting going after the in state players.

From the article, Booher also noted that Justice aspires to be a college coach someday and saw value in learning from Pitino. Pitino does have a good record of producing good coaches from his programs. Based on this statement, seems the young man has a good head on his shoulders and thinking of his future beyond college.

Asking EJ and Phares to walk on I don't consider that recruiting. I certainly do not consider them as prospects for building a NC contending team. I consider Darius Miller, John Hood and Preston Knowles very good players, but if I am building a NC contender team I don't want my bench filled with them.
