Didn't Coach K turn down big time money to coach the Lakers? I can't see him going to New Jersey.

I'd be surprised if he left. I wouldn't think that he would need the money at this point in his life. The mood on the Duke message board is that he won't leave. Kobe tried hard to get him to come to L.A. and it didn't work. Coach K seems like a lifer in college basketball......but you never know.

Yes, that is per year. He was offered 8 mil from the Lakers. This one comes with GM rights too. I agree with PP though, I don't see him going....but, wow...that could be tough to turn down.

I don't think it would be a good move for him, it has not worked out too well for most of the others who have tried it.
