Does any of the big 5 return to UK?

Featured Replies

3...Ebanks, Jones, and Butler

Not Jones. I haven't seen his name mentioned by anyone.

Butler is a sure 1st rounder.

Ebanks has a slight chance of getting into the end of round 1 but is most likely an early second round pick.

With UK losing, we are assured that this year's champion will be one of the least talented (in NBA draftees) of the past 20 years, joining Tubby's UK team and Arkansas with Corliss Williamson.

If Patterson comes back, he will be my all-time favorite player.

And if he doesn't come back? Chopped liver?

What is so funny? Seriously? I guess I just don't get it.

I don't think Cal would let Wall, Cousins or Patterson come back. I think he will tell them to not be silly, go get your check and thank you. I can't fault Bledsoe for leaving because he keeps showing up in the top half of the NBA draft also. If you are a sure 1st rounder, you have to go. Orton ... I don't think he has been considered as going so he is under the radar on the draft boards right now. But he sure looks like he is gone by his demeanor of the past couple of weeks. That is why I said in another thread that this year's recruiting class may be even more important than last year's was for UK.

Orton and Bledsoe 50/50

Wall, Cousins, Patterson. Well in the words of one South Park episode, "SEE YA!"

And if he doesn't come back? Chopped liver?

Haha...no. it's just pretty tough to pass guys I grew up watching in the late 90's. He's still definitely one of my favorites.

I think Clyde was joking...

Define "rumor."

Well GT stated that a UK player talked to someone about leaving. W/ his recruiting info and your connection w/ X I'm guessing someone contacted X.

I think astute comments, which again leads me to ask-how with all of this talent did UK not get to the Final 4?

Also Cal of course would say grab the money, because that is what he does.

As an aside I find the term "student athletes" very funny in the post game press conferences. That one is truly not aimed at UK players, but geez NCAA get real.

That is the rumor I have heard .:sssh:

Anybody think Patterson could make it a s a TE in the NFL? Size, hands, feet, arms....unsure of speed.

Everyone's a source now huh?

Wall- slim to none

Bledsoe- Would be dumb to leave

Cousins- I'd say 70/30 he goes

Patterson 50/50. I could see him staying for his last year but doubt he will.

Orton- 80/20 he stays but who knows.

All five are gone.

That's debatable but they don't defend in the NBA anyway.

Biggest misconception out there about the NBA. Bottom teams might not but the top teams are the best defensive teams in the world.
