I'm pretty moody when it comes to bourbon - which might explain why at any given time I've got anywhere between $100 and $250 worth of different bourbons in my liquor cabinet at any given time. It's ridiculous...seriously. I'd start by saying that, although I do like them, I'm not all that particular to Woodford or Knob Creek. I'd have to agree that, yeah, Basil Hayden, Booker's and Baker's are all among my favorites - especially Booker's of those three. I might suggest trying Eagle Rare 10 Yr if you like those. It runs about 29 bucks a bottle. I was given a bottle of their 17 yr this past Christmas by a contractor, but I haven't found an occasion to open it yet. Corner Creek Reserve is pretty good - especially for an 8 yr. I also recently discovered George T. Stagg, and I'm definitely a fan. It's a 15 year, so it's a pretty "big" bourbon. Most people tend to cut it with a little water seeing as it's 140 proof, and I tend to opt for pouring it over ice and letting it sit for a few minutes before I start sipping. I'm almost at the end of my first bottle, and I'm debating whether or not I need another one right now. I haven't seen a bottle for under $80, so it may be a little while. I'd say my all-around favorite bourbon, though, has got to be Blanton's. It's nice and smooth, and has the best combination of vanilla, oak, and spice that I've ever come by - and at $60 a bottle, it doesn't hurt quite so much to buy as compared to the Stagg or Old Pappy.

Sounds like you are very "well-versed" in your bourbons! :thumb: Eagle Rare 10 yr. is the only one you mentioned that I have had. Very tasty. I had a new one the other day called Beam RI (Rye). Very nice.
