GatorFan Posted March 17, 2010 Posted March 17, 2010 Anyone watching tonight? This is the girl from Mt. Notre Dame.
Mustang Posted March 17, 2010 Posted March 17, 2010 Anyone watching tonight? This is the girl from Mt. Notre Dame. I doubt if Bishop Foys is watching.
GatorFan Posted March 17, 2010 Author Posted March 17, 2010 Not Mt. ND, but ND in Park Hills. Ok thanks I wasn't sure. :thumb:
NEERFAN Posted March 17, 2010 Posted March 17, 2010 Just how old is the father? Apparently he had to go to the bar during the episode.
CatsCatsCats Posted March 17, 2010 Posted March 17, 2010 I have watched a few of these shows. Same old story most of the time. I feel bad for all the kids involved to be honest.
BlueBoy Posted March 17, 2010 Posted March 17, 2010 Yeah, not a good showing for Notre Dame. Heard the higher ups took a lot of flack over allowing MTV to come into the school. Oh well, what people won't do for some money!
Theoldguy Posted March 17, 2010 Posted March 17, 2010 It was a no win situation for NDA: You refuse to do the show and you come out looking like a all Girls School that turned their backs on the young lady. Do the show and you earn the wrath of the Bishop. Either way the Good Sisters of NDA lose. BTW you have heard haven't you, that for the first time in the long, long history of NDA (100 + years) there will not be a Sister of NDA as the Principal of NDA but a lay person. Do I think that Bishop Foys had anything to do with it? :idunno: But I wouldn't bet against it!

I agree 100% What I want to know (keep in mind I was raised Catholic), is WHEN will our brilliant Catholic leaders learn that, as soon as you tell your flock not to do something, they will do it ten fold? To make this such a big deal and advise people not to watch it in the newspaper, is the best advertisement the show could ask for. I didnt watch it, but I taped it and I have never seen that show before.
