:idunno:A lot of rumors floating around about a couple GRC players at the State Tournament this past wk,along with one about a Royals player.Only time will tell if any of them are true.It could change the look of each of these teams next season,if any of these have any merit.

About Prep Schools? I heard those also!

None of GRC players are going to a Prep school. I had heard that one of Masons players was going to Huntington Prep, but didn't post it, as rumors are usually just that, rumors.

Augusta - Colton Fraysure

Always interesting conversation in the 10th and next year is looking a lot like last year. GRC will be loaded with a roster of D1 talent and will be the pre-season odds on favorite while Mason County will be waiting in the wings to try and move onto Rupp for the 4th consecutive year.

Just my opinion but I would rank Mason County as pre-season number #1 because to be the champ you have to beat the champ. Plus it's a lot more fun on BGP when they are ranked ahead of GRC!

Rumor was hard and heavy Zollo was gone for sure from GRC next year..

 I am sure Mason fans wish he would. I have from a impeccable source that he is not going anywhere. He will be playing ball at GRC next year. Any other rumors...:D

Why would we want him to go anywhere? We are 2-0 vs him in March! It is more fun to beat him!

Keep dreaming.

If Zollo left GRC wouldnt that rule him not able to play next year due to KHSAA rules? I see that as a completely un-logical assumption. Vinny Zollo will be at GRC next year.

Prep schools do not play by the same rules as high schools. He would not be required to show a change of residence to play at a prep school.

Even without Zollo, Clark still has the most talent in the region and should still win next year, might just make some of the games a little closer.

Agreed. When you still bring back 3 all-region players and Purvis...you're pretty darn good! :ylsuper:

Clark without a doubt has more talent than Mason but I think its more mental than anything. They just can't get over the hump.

After seeing the State Tournament, Clark County was the most physically talented, deepest, and tallest team in the state. 20 points better than Mason on paper but that's why they play the game and what coaching ability or lack thereof means at this level.

Guys, the region game is over and has been over for awhile. Mason won, GRC lost end of story. Next year is a new year.

And trust me, Vinny is going no where so you can stop wishing.
