GRC with what they return has to be preseason number 1 in the state.

Prewitt and Monroe will be the best of their sophomore class next year.

The 38th District returns a lot of talent. Nicholas County loses a lot to graduation, but Pendleton County, Harrison County, and Deming return a lot.

Pendleton County returnees- Michael Walsh, Mason Monroe, Alex Valentine, Aaron Bonar and Asa Crozier

Deming- Kyle King, Luke King, Jonathon Caldwell, Calvin Schlach and Ethan Earlywine

Harrison County- Caleb Ford, Eric Sanders, Elijah Gross, Jordan Stubbs and Jordan Martin

Nicholas County may have the best all-around player returning in the 38th in Charles Washington. He will be a senior.

All of these need to be mentioned. I will also add Charlie Rogers and Adam Fatkin. Both Sophomores playing with this very strong group of Juniors on the GRC team.

I have seen both Smith and Prewitt play several games this year. Both very talented young men. The 10th region is blessed with some very outstanding talent for next year.:thumb: Stenzel and Zollo will go D-1.

Are Stenzel and Zollo the only ones that will go D-1... I have heard rumors of Daniels getting looks from Penn State. Any validity to that?

He's gotten letters from them... I also know Pervis was offered by Morehead over a year ago. Not sure if that's still on the table or not.

I believe Rogers will go D1 in football as well.

I feel there will be others, but I know that both Stenzel and Zollo have several D-1 offers right now.

Yes he will.

Charles Washington is no longer enrolled in Nicholas County High School.

I heard something like that but without any validity. Thanks Breds Fan

Harrison also returns Nick Slucher, Tyler Wagner, JD Kuntz, and Scott Kendall,

Charles Washington certainly would have been a force in the 38th District, especially with the general lack of height in the district. Unfortunately, he moved back to Louisville shortly after the district tournament.

Prewitt was very, very impressive against Pendleton County.

Prewitt was touted as just a three-point shooter for much of the year, but if my memory serves me right, he only hit two threes against Pendleton County in the Regional Tournament and finished with 28 points. Pendleton County put their best defenders on him, and he still showed an ability to get to the rim at will. He will be a special player.

As he gets older and naturally stronger and his body gets wider and stronger, he will be very, very tough. He went where he wanted to go in that game on skills. When he gets naturally stronger, he will go where he wants to go both physically and skill wise.

That will be one tough player.

Kellen Smith of Scott returns for his senior season next year. I look for him to add to his collection of awards next season.

Agree with TAC. Kellen Smith is a heck of a PG.

:idunno:

Who all does Mason return? I know GRC will be loaded again next year.
A lot of rumors floating around about a couple GRC players at the State Tournament this past wk,along with one about a Royals player.Only time will tell if any of them are true.It could change the look of each of these teams next season,if any of these have any merit.
