One of the best up and coming coaches in the state is Scott Hundley at Montgomery County. This group overachieved this year in large part because of the way Hundley prepared them at the JV level.

Ask the people in Morgan Co about him.

 

And McCreary County.

Seth Faulkner at Mason Co. Great young man, works hard and is a terrific role model for the kids.

 

He is intense and does a great job in Basketball as well as Football.

And McCreary County.

 

Looks like he is not so well liked after all.

Sean Maddy Campbell County, very knowledgeable and great temperment.

There are a few people in Garrard County that remember Roscoe. He took the job and was in Lancaster for nearly two weeks in the summer of 1997. Basically ran a summer camp and then left for McCreary Central. What's weird is I was on the team, but my family was on vacation. I never even met him!:lol:

Kelly Carwile, Mason County, has been an head coach in the past and does a fine job for Coach O'Hearn and Mason County.

Kelly is a great assistant and excellent scouter of games. Unbelievable knowledge of the game. Royals are well prepared for opponents in large part b/c of scouting by Kelly.

Seth is a wonderful compliment ot Coach Ohearn. Seth is a wonderful role model and dedicated teacher. Seth, Kely and chris make for an unbeatable coaching team who work extremely well together. No egos involved just work togehter for the kids and teams

I'm not sold yet on Downs. He has had a ton of talent coming through the pipeline at Boone. I would like to see how he would do with a team with less talent than what he has had in his career at Boone. IMO a great coach is one that can take a team without a lot of talent and get them to a higher level and achieve success.
