Heard 16 people have applied for the Greenup job so far. One of the applicants I guess is a very big name but the board is keeping it hush hush because I guess there is a large amount of money involved if the deal goes down.

What do you mean by big name? Is he retired or coaching somewhere?

I personaly have no clue as to who the "big name" could be that is just the way it was told to me as well.

We'll just have to wait and see I guess.....:idunno:

I guess it all depends on what people consider a "big name".

Give Sutton a chance. Hes put in the time........ Reward him!!! or would it even be a reward? maybe a punishment lol.

I have been told that since he has an adminstration job in the GC system that either he don't have time or is not allowed to apply.

In this one the two names I am hearing is Dodd or Ward it will more than likely be one of those two.

If Dood is a finalist, some on here must have been sworn to secrecy!

I wonder if Roger Zornes had any interest in this job?

yes.

I wonder if Roger Zornes had any interest in this job?

I highly doubt that. Coach Zornes doesnt need the headache.

Headaches come with every coaching job....Greenup may have had more than their fair share lately...but at a school the size of Greenup, Zornes would be a great hire in my opinion.

Who would be the best for the kids? Who could jump in there and just deal with the kids and the game and not have to deal with all the other "extra" things going on around the program.
