Since at least one person misinterpreted the above post as a shot at Coach Brossart by me, I need to clarify it. As any one that followed those rather spirited threads can verify, I was very supportive of Coach Brossart in the debate; very supportive. My above post was definitely not intended as a jab at him; actually it was intended to be a playful jab at the CovCath fans in response to the Judge Ward playful jab. Sorry to any Coach Brossart supporters (and to him too if he saw it) that took my post wrong and thus were offended. First time someone has told me on here I need to show some class.

 

Wow!! I didn't take it as a jab at Coach Brossart at all but rather as a playful jab at the Cov. Cath. fans who gave Coach Brossart a hard time. I recall Leatherneck being one of Coach Brossart's most reliable defenders. The fact that you have extended an apology is even more proof that you are a true gentleman. :notworthy:

I'm in if they need a waterboy or chaingang member! I thought I saw Leatherneck running this morning around 5am so he must be thinking about making a comeback.

 

That wasn't running and those weren't running clothes I was in either; rather I was going out to pick up the newspapers sporting only my boxers! :scared:

Those Bluebird grads had better watch out though...the Cov Cath alumni have discovered a few secrets for packing a little extra wallop into the hits they deliver: it's the Barley & Malted Hops Weight Gain Plan. The secret was passed on to us by Odell Thurman.

 

I've seen a couple of grads who have had some extraordinary successes with this plan. Bluebirds beware, we've got some guys who'll plant you in the ground like it's Earth Day.
