At this point and time, I'd like to have a commit from at least one of these recruits. It seems the Knight situation is the least known since everyone in that circle of his has put the clamp down on information getting out. The only thing thats really known is the schools he has listed that he is considering and thats about it.

I've never heard of this website before so I have no idea how reliable they may be. However, I have a hunch he took earlier news of an assistant coach who said he feels that Knight will choose Kentucky and turned it into we talked to an assistant coach who says it is a done deal. No matter how you spin it, you will see plenty more of these type articles, and hear many more rumors of Knight to UK/UF until he comes out and says it himself. However, that should be in the next couple of weeks.

I can't wait. I would love for UK to get the 2010 recruit monkey off of their back and land Knight ASAP. I wish Leslie would commit soon too. I don't like this waiting thing.

Not surprised at all if they land both. I mean you have a coach on the cover of slam labeled as the "hit machine." Wanna be talked about by all major college bball analyst all year long.. go to UK.

I know, I feel the same way. We have already been spoiled. Just think, a couple of years ago we were praying that we landed Liggins, and he was the stud of the class at around 28th in the rankings. Now its like it was in the 90's, you can actually expect to get the high tier, five star prospects. I know I will feel a lot better if Knight announces UK, and if Leslie does the same then I will be as crazy as I was last year when Wall had his press conference.

Just remember though patience pays off. Wall waited until the last week of the signing period last year, and it made no difference in the end. I feel ya on wanting them to hurry and commit, but the main thing is, whether being now or later, that they choose UK.

Last night, the local news report that Knight had removed Florida from his list. That would seem to bode well for UK.

Thought it was the other way around. I thought Florida removed him from their list. Not sure why they would do that, unless they are giving up as they might think it's a losing battle and want to focus on Rivers. :idunno:

Either that or Knight revealed his decision to all parties. Maybe he either told Florida where he was going, or told them that he had made his decision and it wasn't them.

Maybe I didn't hear it write, or the news didn't word it correctly. Regardless, the main point of the story to me is that Florida is out of the picture and that would seem to bode well for UK if what we've heard prior to this was true.

Nothing personal against FL, but it appears to be a sinking ship.

They're constantly losing out on recruits, Billy Donovan is constantly rumored to be leaving, their recruits that they do get eventually are leaving, their fan base isn't strong, rarely have sell out games if ever, Kentucky is now going to pretty much dominate the SEC for however long Cal is coaching..if I was Billy D, I might have considered the St. John's job a little longer.
