March 6, 201016 yr I'm a pretty lucky guy. My first concert was Elvis. My mother fell and had to have 16 stitches in her leg that day. I got to go. I was 14 years old and had floor seats and watched a young (20ish) lady loosen up and run up to the stage. She blessed Elvis with her strongest support...then I was blessed sitting behind her for the next hour. That is my biggest memory of the Elvis concert I'll still take Bob Seger !

Great tune!Yes it is, but as a life long fan, it is not my favorite Kansas song, neither is "Dust In The Wind". The title track from the album "Song for America" fills that bill, followed by "Miracles Out of Nowhere" and "On the Other Side". I've seen them at least once in every decade since 1970 (Aerosmith is also in that category). I saw them 3 times in the 80s and twice last decade, 2005 at Janice Landing (before Robbie Steinhardt left again) and 2007 at the State Theater in downtown St. Pete. Steve Walsh's voice is about gone, but they still do belt it out and Dave Ragsdale does Robbie justice. They were in Orlando on Jan. 29th, but I couldn't go. :cry: That would have been the first of the 5th decade. I want to see them at least one more time before they hang it up.

I saw them live back in the late 70s, love Kansas! Two of my favorites by them is "Magnum Opus" and "The Wall".
March 6, 201016 yr Early Van Halen with David Lee Roth. Freedom Hall Or the Original Steppenwolf. Anywhere I went up to Indy in 07' and watched them on the reunion tour with Diamond Dave. I know that it still wasn't the same without Michael Anthony, but it was a pretty good show considering. Ed V sure still had it.
March 6, 201016 yr There's too many I would love to see, The Doors at the Hollywood Bowl Led Zeppelin at MSG or at royal Albert Hall Pink Floyd anywhere Hendrix Live at Monterey, Woodstock, or Isle of Wight Nirvana Live at Reading Pantera At Monsters of Rock Sublime anywhere Bob Marley Alice In Chains with Layne Staley and Mike Starr of course I would love to see any of these acts anywhere, anytime, but the shows mentioned would be glorious.
