If they do eliminate Weber, I will most likely go the DirecTV way.

I had to temporarily switch to Insight from Direct TV during a move and it was awful. So glad to have Direct TV back!

I have to be honest. Zero chance I base my decision on whether they keep showing Don Weber's 5 minutes of highlights on a Friday night. I think the guy is awesome at what he does but it has zero value to me. I've never had one problem with Insight and have found them good to work with.

 

I will miss seeing ICN6 broadcast high school football games but, again, its not a big deal if they choose not to. I see plenty of games.

Insight's decision to pull out of local programming in northern Kentucky makes the contribution of the Telecommunications Board of Northern Kentucky (TBNK) all the more important. TBNK Sports provides excellent coverage of not just basketball, football and baseball but also sports such as cross country, swimming and volleyball. [They haven't covered ice skater barrel jumping or cliff diving yet, but there is always next year.] :thumb:

Insight customer support says Don Weber is moving to Channel 2. The article says it hasn't been determined. Seems to be a disconnect.

I think it's a crime what they're doing! They're dropping the only reason people had for not switching to a satellite provider. Getting rid of NKY Magazine is as bad, or worse than losing Don Weber's fine programming. That show brought NKY together.

The reason for starting this thread is to let Insight know that we don't want to lose Don Webber and Company! If they see the outrage maybe they will realize that their customer base wants them to stay!

He also did weekly preview shows and an annual football preview.

I'm with you. I was waiting for that call.

I'm all for the fact that people contact Insight and let them know that they are not happy with decisions being made. Its the beauty of the free market.

 

However, the seemingly inane thought process that its a crime or that we are somehow OWED a certain channel baffles me.
