I toyed with a Sam Adams variety pack this weekend and tried the Nobel Pils for the first time and really enjoyed it, I also tried the Coastal Wheat but I can't say I enjoyed it as much as the others. IMO Sam Adams has a great thing going with their seasonal beers, I’m already craving a Summer Ale and when that time comes I’m sure I’ll then be craving a Winter Lager.

Fast forward Feb 2011...The Sam Adams winter lager is one of my favorite beers.

Steve's........Duke is on in less than an hour.

I had a glass of wine (three actually) out of a box tonight, Black Box, and it was very good. Pinot Noir.

Had a cold, frosty NewCastle Draft on tap tonight. (Actually I had 3..........)

LOVE the Winter Lager. I'm shocked you can still find it.

I'll vouch for that, sir. :thumb:

I got a case of Yuenling brought back to me from Nashville last night......makes for a nice Sunday.

The Beer Engine opened this weekend in Danville, the town's first Microbrewery (actually a Nanobrewery). They have a catchy phrase "Danville's oldest brewery".

This place currently offers 3 local brews and 9 other craft beers on draft. Last night I tried a Grimbergen Dubbel for the first time and it was INCREDIBLE. Needless to say, I had them fill me a growler upon leaving.:D

If you're a Riesling drinker like I but do not like to spend a lot of money on a bottle grab yourself a bottle of Hi-Def for about $10. Finished a bottle tonight. Yummy.

Fantastic beer. Not-so-fantastic price tag.
