Some quotes to live by for my beer drinking friends:

http://www.schiesshouse.com/beer_quotations_and_humor.htm

Some of them are pretty witty.

I particularly liked: “And God said, ‘Let there be beer!’ And He saw that is was good. Then God said, ‘Let there be light!’ And then He said, ‘Whoa-too much light’.” - Frank Varano

I stopped at Habenero up in Clifton last Saturday. I ordered the Arroyo Hondo flank steak burrito and a beer. The burrito was alright (I really missed the cilantro basmati rice that they have at Chipotle), but the beer was excellent. It was called Domaine DuPage. It's a "French Country Ale" made by Two Brothers Brewing Company out of Illinois. I'd never heard of the brewery, the beer, or the beer style, so I tried it and it was great. I might have to stop up there again and try another burrito.

Skip the burritos and order the fish tacos. Unfortunately if you order the meal, you only get two, so it is kind of pricey and might not fill you up, but they are absolutely incredible. If you have a free Tuesday, go up there for $2 tacos and mix and match the fish tacos with different toppings and salsas, and you will be back for more than than just the beer.

Since this is a beer thread, I've been sipping on Founders Red's Rye PA. It has 70 IBUs, so if anyone likes IPAs, I would highly recommend it.

Whoa, I've brought you out of anonymity after two years, haha! Thanks for the tip though. I'll have to try the tacos :thumb: I'm also a pretty big fan of IPA's. I think they're great summertime beers. I'll have to try that one out.

Ha! I used to read a bunch, but haven't for awhile. I've picked it up again lately with having a little down time and the Reds starting up again.

If you are in Clifton a lot, head up the hill on Clifton Ave. and check out Cilantro for some pretty awesome Ameicanized Vietnamese food. Its directly across the street from Hughes High School.

I've been on a Yuengling kick for some time now... That run is over, there’s a new beer in my life and her name is Stella Artois. I've had it before but never enjoyed it like i have the last few weeks. It has a 5% ABV (more than yuengling) and is as smooth as any beer I've ever had. IMO it is the perfect summer beer and if you haven’t tried it, you should.
