I know only the three brothers for the Grove scored all the points but it was so cool how the Pendleton fans reacted to brother #3 when he made the free throw. really cool moment and classy Pendleton County reaction!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

As far as school tomorrow, it is not the roads that are the problem but rather turnarounds. Those long busses have to have a place to turnaround on those long, curvy, one lane, dead end roads we have.

 

Why is this more an issue in Pendleton than it is in rural Campbell, Kenton and Boone?

Hot Shot you would not believe the difference in roads once you get out of the three counties in the north. So many of these roads lead to........nowhere......or into a different county.......and like LBBC said the turnarounds are the issue. You can get down the road but have no way of turning around. Roads in Pendleton, Robertson, Lewis, and Bracken really cannot be fathomed by those that live in Boone Kenton and Campbell....even in the rural areas of those three counties.

That was one of those great moments in sports when all of the players, coaches and refs were conspiring to get that young man a shot.

 

One of the officials told the PC coach that the player who fouled the little brother saved him from a technical. Told him that if the kid had scored with a handful of seconds left, he was going to T up the Pendleton coach and get that kid an opportunity to hit some free throws.

 

It was a great moment to see the joy on the little boy's face when he scored.

Pendleton fan's are normally never confused with being classy them and Campbell County fan's are some of the worst year in and year out at the middle school level anyway's.

I disagree. We have a handful that are embarrassing but don't a couple bad apples spoil the whole basket of apples.

 

 

 

On the roads issue, I hear our bus drivers have been driving their routes today to see where they can and cannot go. A few were stuck in turnarounds and will not be driving those roads tomorrow.

Well all I know is what exposure I have to them was fantastic!!!!!!

The 7th grade girls of SHarp fell well behind early in the game but come roaring back to win vs. Newport.

District 2 8th Grade Championship tomorrow night @ Conner.

In 7th grade action Ockerman beat Grant County by 17.

 

In 7th grade girls Camp Ernst (behind the strong play of Macy Ford) handled Gray.
