I said in the predictions thread that he would be the difference in this game. He had 10 within the first 4 minutes of the game, including several dunks.

 

He has been very focused lately and continues to be Holmes most consistent scoring option.

 

The tech called on him in the second quarter after the alley oop dunk was bogus. Edginton has to be the worst ref in NKY. Pittman grabs the alley oop, throws it down hard and Edgington calls a tech after. That gave Pittman his second foul and sent him to the bench with around 6 or 7 minutes left in the second quarter.

 

I agree...she needs to be removed from the job.

Holmes played very well tonight. They pushed the tempo and passed the ball on the interior very well for a ton of easy layups and dunks. Pittman probably was only on the floor 14-15 minutes for his 18 points. I hope this trend continues of playing more up tempo as they get a lot of easy scores.

I didn't attend tonight's game, but after all the ranting I did about the Bulldogs after the Ryle loss, I'm glad that they got down to business. It sounds like a more focused team took the floor and gave the Eagles a serious spanking. :thumb:

I've noticed this in Holmes' past two games...they've gotten out and ran and they seem to be having more fun on the offensive end which is leading to a lot of easy baskets.

Careful D series, going to a Holmes game can be addicting. Fun team to take pictures of regardless of who they play. Very talented and animated bunch of athletes.

I think they gave him the T because he actually spun on the rim. You can see that the ball is almost on the floor but he is still on the rim. What a display; I felt like I was watching a dunk contest. I know Scott's game is pressing but it sure help unleash the Bulldog Aerial Assault. Wow! Very Impressive and fun to watch.

You are only allowed to hang on the rim to break a fall, or regain your balance. This appears way-excessive! Were there an evaluator in the stands, she/they would have been written up for not making that call.

His feet were actually out from under him for a second on the dunk and he reeled himself back in and let go. The pic looks like he was spinning on the rim in a taunting fashion, but if you were there you would have felt otherwise because it really was a terrible call. Oh well.

#2 was right on his hip, and his momentum was moving him to the left on the catch and finish. There was ZERO showboating on that dunk. If anything it was a "make up" call from the previous dunk where he likely should have been hit with a T...
