June 10, 201016 yr I read an article that said Seantrell was told by Kiffin not to worry about sanctions. Opps. I heard earlier today that it was USC with the caveat that he will not sign until the NCAA releases their findings. Does anyone know if he ever signed the LOI? Might be time to reconsider going to Columbus.

The letter of intent is a contract; it states the student athlete is guaranteeing he/she will attend the university for one academic year provided the student athlete is eligible for admittance to the university. If he decides to transfer, he would have to sit out a season, provided he transfers to a Division One (FBS) school. This is the rule as I know it. The NCAA is only making exceptions for the upperclassman since they would end their careers on probation. The rumor is he is going to prep for a year then will head to Miami, but nobody can confirm it, no buzz in Columbus about it yet.

I don't buy the rumor in the first place, but some of the ways Seantrel handled his recruiting with Miami won't sit well with Shannon. Maybe you make an exception for Seantrel, I wouldn't. Hope things workout for Seantrel though he's caught right in the middle of all of it. For the record it appears to be a "Miami fan" generated rumor, can't confirm it anywhere. Time will tell.
