July 20, 201016 yr Larry, I am hearing Trey is going to decide in the next week or so. My people are saying its OSU, but I am sure your people are saying it's Bama. I still think Bama has the lead but he has warmed up to OSU recently... Decision day will be a fun day!
July 21, 201016 yr John, Trey is making another visit to Bama this week. We are real excited that he wants to come down again. If he stayed up North and have all the OSU people bending his ear I'd be worried. Going to Sweet Home is a plus. Ryan coming to Bama shows Trey he will not be the only Ohio Athlete to come on down. But february is the real test.

July 22, 201016 yr On ESPN recruiting update they are saying Troy will be at Ohio State on Friday and make a visit in August to Bama and probably make a decision after the visit. OSU needs to land this guy!! Especially since Jordan Hicks the number 1 OLB last year went to Texas.

I'll let you know what else I see. You hit the nail in the head. I was already told his mom is willing to move, the wildcard will be if his grandparents will move, who he is VERY close too. OSU is planning to roll the red carpet out Friday but there still behind. Keep filling me in ill do the same for you. Still feel like he's a Tide member, he is in a win win situation regardless.
July 22, 201016 yr If OSU can get Troy this will be a stellar class ( even without Troy ). They are the front runners for Doran Grant the #3 CB and Shane Wynn the #22 athelete per ESPN recruting. If they can land all three they will have the top six recruits in Ohio commited to them!!

July 22, 201016 yr Does Tressel mean Trey? Hey, I agree its like having Cherry pie or Apple pie. I just like getting kids from not just the South. I remember one year Norte Dame had one kid from Indiana on its roster. One reason I always dislike that program.

I forgot to mention OSU offered a big time state of FL, LB a scholly this week. He is a USC verbal but said he plans to come ot OSU to watch the Miami, FL game. He is prob a long shot but I think the offer itself says a lot about Depriest situation.

So he's a USC commit from the state of Florida and he's going to go all the way to Columbus on a visit to OSU....to see them get spanked by the Canes? That's confusing :lol:.
