I know a year can make a difference ie. SK but do you honestly think LCA could beat NCC or Bwood? Bwood lost some studs but they beat the Eagles by 40+ last season. I'll take the have no clue route.

 

I saw LCA in week one and they were overwhelmed by a very good LexCath team.

 

LCA has a good coach and A LOT of skilled talent and yes I do think they could upset either Beechwood or NCC. LCA is one of those programs on a fast train.

He had a minor car accident last Friday afternoon. He had a concussion and missed the game. He is OK. Can't imagine ANYTHING that would keep him away Friday :fight:

This one should be a barnburner with both teams equally tallented and semi-deep at skill positions....could come down to special teams..I will have to say:

If it comes down to special teams I'd have to lean towards Beechwood. Every year they seem to be very solid at Special teams. Not to mention does anyone remember the roughing the kicker on NewCath last year? I do. For some reason Beechwood Doesn't make those dumb mistakes that turn the game around.

NCC was up 3-0 in the 4th quarter with 9 minutes left and would have had the ball near midfield after their return.

And it wasn't even roughing the kicker, it was running into the kicker (which is worse in that situation IMO). It did not give Beechwood a first down but allowed them to go for a fourth and inches from near midfield which they easily made. Then they drove right in for the 7-3 score. Special teams has always been a Beechwood staple.

Yup, their special teams have been huge against us the past 2 seasons.
