At 6'7, Treg cannot shoot anywhere close to Trey or Darius. He needs to toughen up and be under the goal ALL of the time.

 

I said this after the Holmes game. Setty looked very soft going against Pittman Saturday night. Good to see him rebound tonight with a double double though. Did Campbell Co have anyone that could match up with him though? I'd assume they put Jolly on him all night?

Basically, our sixth man and no relations to the King in Maysville. Ryan is Ethan King's cousin that played on Mason's championship team in 2008. Ryan is doing a fine job for Mason.

I knew that, just thought his Dad would find that funny. Glad he is helping the Royals when he gets the chance, still sure would have liked him as the point or a SG on this year's BC team.

That home court advantage thing must be a thing of the past. Holmes shoots 20-25 FT to Mason's 8-11 and tonight Campbell 24-31 and Mason 14-17. I guess what everyone says that Mason homers everyone must just being blowing off hot air. The last two games Mason lost to better teams. Campbell played smart and executed very well. Mason had a six point lead when a Technical was called on a Mason player and the next thing we knew we were down one. Yes, Setty does help bring the ball up the floor but on offense he is under the basket most of the time. Tonight he had 24 pts and 17 rebounds. Not bad for a guard, right!!! Mason does need better offense as we have a had time getting out of the fifties. Gilbert should be one of our offense weapons and he had zero points tonight after 17 against Holmes. Mason will play better in the future!!!!!!

 

 

Glad we got the win, but I don't think I would throw in the home court advantage story yet.

Like I mention when I saw Campbell play in the Lloyd Invitational, they don't have the most talent, but they were the best coached team, played harder than everyone else, and fundamentaly sound.

 

I really enjoyed watching teams like that play. It certainly look like it is paying off for them. I'm just sorry I missed the game tonight, to far of a drive, but I hope to see them again in the next several weeks.

Good game for Setty, but not much help tonight. Embarassing loss for the Royals after leading 46-40 with 6:00 to play.

No Manship in the box score again. Is he still on the team? With Pawsat and Black out I would have thought he would see some minutes. I mean he started some for Montgomery last year.

It's refreshing to see the Camels continue to add some offense as of late that was missing earlier in the year, to go with their hard nose defense. Congratulations, Good win for the Camels.
