January 3, 201016 yr The infamous "Worldwide Wes" was in attendance at the UK/UL game today--seated in the front row on the opposite side of the floor as the UK bench. For those who DVR'd the game, check it out with exactly 16:00 left to play in the 1st half. You see the back-side of Patterson as he's getting ready to take the ball out. The ref is on the left side of Patterson, and in between them, you get a good shot at the people seated on the front row. And on that front row are two African-American men. The one on the right, with the bald head, blue jeans, sports coat, & tennis shoes is one William Wesley, a.k.a. "Worldwide Wes." For those who aren't familiar with Wes, Google "Worldwide Wes." For those to lazy to do that, understand that he's the currently the greatest friend of the program for the University of Kentucky.

January 3, 201016 yr That's Bill Morgan. Bill's family was huge in the coal business and he is the owner of B&B Tire on Broadway in Lexington. He is the sponsor of the Poor Man's Derby held at Appleby's Park each May. I don't know about his clout, but he has some cash. He bleeds blue!

He's a long term "pusher". A Nike runner, basically a front man for "the next big thing athletes". He has a lot of control in where they end up, because of the potential $$$ from Nike.

Wes did not have near the influence in joining Cal and Wall together. Gilchrist is basically tied with Wes, and essentially, Cal. Same with Evans and Wagner. Rose was also connected to Wes.
