Congrats to the Flyers. That is what this thread was about, right? Good to hear Thompson get involved. Hall and Meyer have carried them so far. Great job guys.:thumb:

OG, how was attendance? I went last year to watch Highlands/Cov Cath, and the big matchup between Holmes and Scott Co. There was a pretty good crowd for those games. Judging by PANDA's great pics, it seemed pretty sparse this year.

From the three games I attended it wasn't too bad but nothing like last year at all.

The cost to get in was $10.00 and with the parking only $2.00 it wasn't the reason at least to me for the smaller crowds, but the Bengals game and the matchup weren't what you would want.

That's what I thought. They really need to cornerstone the event with a marquise game like Holmes and Scott Co. last year.

Who is that kid? He looks like with his height he should be in a uniform.

That's Alex Ammerman, a senior. His interests are on the golf course...and apparently in the Bengals Cheerleaders Calendar.

Alex was a pretty good freshman basketball player, deadly from behind the arch. It's a shame Coach L decided to cut him because the team could really use a 3pt specialist.

Alex shot in the 3 pt contest this year during Blue / White...... didn't do too bad from what I remember.........

Yes, Alex was in fact the CovCath Crazy student entree in the Blue/White scrimmage, he didn't win but he did pretty good!

Isn't his sister a starter for the NDA basketball team?

His sister (there are triplets) is an amazingly entertaining basketball player for NDA. Very cool under pressure. Both Alex and Will have done fantastic jobs as Seniors leading the Crazies. Great kids, all three.

paNDA I am glad you got a picture of the CovCath Choral Group singing the National Anthem!

Gentlemen you did great and I know the young ladies from NDA who sat behind me, were indeed impressed with your singing!

I agree. The Choral Group was excellent. :thumb:

Nice win for the Flyers.

Thelen is going to be a great one.

As long as he can stay healthy....
