December 11, 200916 yr Like any sports analyst? This is not directed at Scarheel, but his thread got me thinking about this because it seems we only knock them. We never applaud any.
December 11, 200916 yr I like Jeff Brantley - Thom Brennaman, not so much. I like Scott Van Pelt. I like Jay Bilas. I like Clark Kellogg. I hate Chris Berman. I like basically every other NFL announcer, though. Kirk Herbstreit is solid. Love John Gruden.
December 11, 200916 yr But my favorites are Charissa Thompson, Erin Andrews, Lisa Guerrero, Melissa Stark and the former broadcaster (and daughter of former Philly QB) Jill Arrington.
December 11, 200916 yr My favorites are Van Pelt, Gruden, and Matt Millen. I also like Boomer, Erin Andrews (what male doesn't?), and Vern Lundquist (sp?) with Gary Danielson because those two do a great job with the college game IMO. Does Herbie count? I like him as well.

I am with you on Gary Danielson, "3C". Gary Danielson understands technical football and presents it in very understandable form. He is, currently, the best college football color man because of his enthusiasm and understanding of the game, in my opinion.
December 11, 200916 yr I like Erin Andrews and this new Jenn Brown... Herbie is okay too! Who doesn't like these two.
December 11, 200916 yr I like Tom Jackson, Jon Gruden, Jay Bilas, Bob Brenly , etc... I like these two as well.
December 11, 200916 yr I usually like most all of them. Really the only one I dislike enough to complain is Stephen A. Smith of ESPN. Is he really an analyst? I do know he is an idiot and a dumb one at that!

You can tell he knows alot but he presents it in a way that everyone can understand. He's a talent IMO.:thumb:
