There is a reason Collinsworth and Roller were invited to the combine , because they are the best in Ky. I would think the scouts for the U.S. Army would have a good eye for talent , wouldn't you ?

 

Don't even get on this thread and say his name got him this recognition ,this is Austin's thread , don't rain on his parade. Austin has earned everything he gets and and deserves everything he gets.

Congrats to Austin Collinsworth. An outstanding football player and even better young man. His parents should be very proud of him and his accomplishments. Good Luck at the next level. I will miss watching him play but hoping there is another diamond in the rough up there who will blossom over the next couple years.

On a side note, it is a shame that this kid didn't even make the final cut for Mr Football. That is shameful IMHO. But, just my opinion. This kid has been all state, ... at more than one position. He is a player!

I don't know if he is the absolute best player in the Commonwealth. I do know he is the best offensive player on the best team in the Commonwealth. IMO. Name recognition counts. I'm not talking about his either. Highlands They do a great job promoting their kids.

I will assume that AC makes all-state at running back this year. If so, that means he will have made it at 3 different positions in 3 different years.

So be it....I congratulate the kid.....but I do wonder about how the team is formulated.....Austin seems like an amazing player....I just wanted to know if he's the best, being that only one was taken from the Commonwealth.
