Does there not seem to be a little insecurity with these types of threads? "Hey Trinity your team is good, we all are aware of that." If you wanted accolades this time of year you should have won last Saturday.

To me Boyle County is far and away the most impressive. Their program came by far the furthest from any of the other programs. Not to mention they did this in a town of 25,000 people where another state power presides.

 

Trinity's run is impressive, but doesn't suprise me one bit given their advantages.

 

Ft.Thomas has a population of about 17,000..Plus a ton of kids that live in Ft.Thomas go to NCC as well...:thumb: I almost forgot that they play up 2 divisons also...

I think okie's point was that Boyle's program was not a state power before the last 11 years.

Just to clear things up for those of you that don't seem to comprehend the title of this thread, "Decade" means "ten" years. It's really not that hard of a concept.

Trinity High School has set the bar to a level we may never see again. In the decade just completed, 2000 - 2009, the ROCKS won an amazing 7 out a possible 10 state championship titles. In 9 of those years, they played in the championship game. Even more impressive, they compete in Kentucky's largest big school class. They clearly established themselves as Kentucky's Premier Football Powerhouse. Congratulations to the players, coaches, and the entire Trinity family.

You would if you played up two classes though.

 

However, there is still no doubt Trinity was the most successful team in the decade and had one of the most amazing runs ever.

Alan, its no secret....the 6A title comes through X and T. I also feel that with it being that way, it makes it even more impressive to win the title in 6A. Not knocking Highlands, but if they had to go through X or T to win thier titles every year, I dont think they'd have as much success

Just beating the other school with the huge enrollment advantage? Heck, Trinity and St. Xavier should dominate the class.

I'm sure they wouldn't, especially if they had to play them with about one-third (or less) of the enrollment.

 

Highlands won five state titles this decade, at least three of them while playing up in class ... a much more impressive feat.
