Since he has no way to prove it on the field, he went with what he knows. Coaches, especially when it comes to their own teams, tend not to lend themselves to speculation, hype, or opinion. That for us to do. If he voted any other way, I'd have been disappointed with him.

Not upset about it, just goes to show the couple of things I LOVE about BK. 1) He doesn't care what ANYONE thinks about him, if he feels his stance benefits his program. 2) With all the ND talk, he hasn't lost focus one bit...or allowed his team to. 3) He's a smart man.

He has an undefeated team, and just like probably any good coach. He probably feels like if you put his team on the field with Alabama, that they could beat them. If a coach thought his team couldn't beat the other team, then maybe they shouldn't be coaching football. I know if I was coaching that team I would have complete faith in my team being able to beat Alabama. So I would have voted my team #1 too.

December 8, 200916 yr I would have absolutely voted my team #1. If I go undefeated in my season in a major conference it would be an insult to my kids not to show them that I think they are the best. They have answered every call so far.
