Again, for the record, let me state that I interviewed Cincinnati St. Xavier's coach on the field after the Highlands game and asked him to compare Highlands with Louisville St. X and Trinity. He said he wouldn't do that, but went on to say that the big difference between Highlands and the two teams from Louisville was that Highlands was so much quicker and faster on offense and defense, and that his team had no way to counter that kind of speed.

 

Highlands whipped Cincinnati St. X. Cincinnati St. X whipped Louisville St. X and Trinity. End of story.

The only game film which would truly matter in this discussion would be Louisville St. X. vs. Highlands, and sadly it was not on the schedule. However, I have it from a very high eschelon source that if it would have occurred, St. X. would have beaten Highlands.
